Hi, 6th graders! Please click the comments link at the bottom right and leave a comment to let the class know what you plan to listen to for your Stretch Project. The project starts as soon as we get back from February vacation.
Hi everyone. It's me, Jon. I'm going to be listening to 60's Era Protest music. The artist will be Bob Dylan. I don't know the exact albums yet, but I will tell you as soon as I pick one out.
Bonjour from St. Barth! OKAY, back to ENGLISH. I'm thinking about Metallica: does anyone have favourite album? I'm going to download it from iTunes. WOOF
Yo Black Dog. If you listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd, try to listen to their version of "Sweet Home Alabama". Its a great song, and my band played it at an asembly.
Hey Jamaica. Is "Mozart for Morning Coffee" a collection of Mozart music?
And also, I cheated. I've just listened to "Bringing it all back Home" a day before the project started! I'm sorry. But it's a REALLY good album. My Favorite song on it is "Outlaw Blues". The Music is undoubtedly folk, but it's not as much Protest as i hoped.
Answer to your 1st question, SparrowHawk:Yes Also, I don't really think that's cheating; didn't Hannah say we could listen to it before the project started? I'm going to start listening tonight, probably. If not, tomorrow. Bye!
Thanks Jamaica. I was wondering about "Mozart for Morning Coffee" because sometimes people name their albums after famous composers, no matter the genre. It just gets confusing about what's what.
