Here's where Hannah suggests what to write about each week! These are basic guidelines; you can write about other stuff, too.
The final topic is this: reflect on your Stretch Project. Has it changed the way you think about music? What might you listen to for your next Stretch Project?
Week One: Share your first impressions of your music. How is it like and unlike what you normally listen to?
ReplyDeleteWeek Two: Do some online research on your musician and/or your style of music. If you copy & paste text from a website, please put it in quotations & be sure to cite your source! (You can paste a link to the website, or simply give the name of the site.)
ReplyDeleteWeek Three: Analyze the piece you like best so far. Listen to it without doing anything else so that you can really concentrate. What instruments are used? What are the lyrics (if any)? You might want to look up the lyrics online if you're not sure what is being sung, or even do some research about the song's background. Why do you think you like this piece so much?
ReplyDeleteWeek Four: What do you usually do while listening to your music? This week, try doing something different. Then, tell us what it's like! Here are a few ideas:
ReplyDelete1. Listen in the car.
2. Listen while doing homework.
3. Listen while doing NOTHING ELSE.
4. Listen while cleaning.
5. Listen & dance!
6. Listen with your family (maybe over dinner or when you first wake up?)
Who can you share your music with? Try to think of a friend, relative, or teacher who might be interested in the music you've been listening to. Bring it into their lives in some way over the next week and tell us about it!
